LOUISVILLE, Ky. (February 21, 2011) –LSS Life Safety Services (LSS), an industry leader in Passive Fire Protection Inspection services, announced today that they were recently granted a Federal Supply Schedule contract from the General Services Administration (GSA), simplifying procurement for federal agencies and other such customer with the ability to purchase through the Federal Supply System.
Under the five-year award contract (No. GS-21F-0056X), LSS Life Safety Services will provide passive fire protection inspection services and repairs to government facilities throughout the United States, including Hawaii, Alaska and the District of Columbia. These services include fire damper inspections, smoke damper inspections, access door installation, fire and smoke damper repairs including installations, and fire door inspection services.
“LSS has been servicing the passive fire protection inspection needs of Federal and State government, the educational community, and the healthcare and industrial industries for several years now, “ said Judy Shission, Director of Business Development. “Obtaining a GSA contract will allow us to offer our services directly to federal government agencies. Under the GSA Schedule contract, government facilities will have greater access to the inspection services based on GSA approved pricing so that facilities can easily stay in compliance with NFPA codes”, said Shission.
