LOUISVILLE, Ky. (February 29, 2012) – LSS Life Safety Services (LSS) recently hired Meghan Arrell as their Northeast Account Manager servicing New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., and Delaware. Meghan will be responsible for consulting, educating and training facility managers and engineers about the importance of Passive Fire Protection safety in her respective territory.

“The more I learned about this position, the more I understood how well it encapsulated my many interests and professional experiences,” said Arrell. “I realized that the many municipal meetings I covered as a reporter and my legal experience would be a great aid in understanding the many codes governing this type of work. Additionally, my work in consumer relations and real estate fueled my desire to work for a corporation providing the best possible services to those it partners with.”
Ms. Arrell is a 2008 graduate of the University of Kentucky and is currently working on her Master’s of Arts from Gonzaga University with a focus in Crisis Communication Planning & Prevention. “My education in Crisis Communication (planning and prevention) has made me acutely aware of the never-ending potential for crisis,” said Arrell. “Although all have the opportunity to manage crisis, the best way for a business to safeguard is to prepare for every ‘worst case’ scenario. I firmly believe that the best plans are always preemptive and I look forward to working for a company that was founded upon preserving life safety and fire containment and deterrence.”
