• Understanding the true meaning of NFPA’s Life Safety Code – Our goal is to help our partners understand that passive fire protection inspections such as fire and smoke damper inspections and fire door inspections are not to be completed simply because they are the “Code” — their purpose is to minimize the danger to life from fire.
• Provide the most thorough inspection in the industry. LSS Life Safety Services® provides a survey and inspection for our clients. Surveying the entire facility to ensure all fire dampers, smoke dampers, and fire doors have been located and plotted on the client’s drawings, and then inspecting the fire dampers, smoke dampers, and fire doors per the NPFA Code – documenting with specific detail the findings of the inspection.
• Digitally document all facets of work performed — LSS Life Safety Services® will document every damper in the “open” and “close” position to provide our clients’ with peace of mind that all dampers were inspected and are in proper working order. Fire door inspections are also accompanied by digital documentation of deficiencies as well as our firestopping and commissioning reports.  All reports are available via our web-based inspection software, LSS Site Surveyor.®
• Putting our clients’ needs first – LSS Life Safety Services® understands that all healthcare facilities and other facilities with critical care areas require strict Infection Control Procedures and we will come prepared to follow all procedures in place. If there is not an Infection Control Procedure in place, we will enforce our own to ensure the health and safety of others.

• Performs fire and smoke damper inspection and repair, and fire door inspections, firestop survey and installation and building commissioning services in all fifty (50) states as well as Puerto Rico, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
• Performs passive fire protection inspections such as fire and smoke damper inspections and fire door inspections in over 400 facilities per year.
• Inspects over one hundred-thousand (100,000) fire and smoke dampers per year.
• Train project managers and technicians in infection control procedures to utilize while working in healthcare facilities
• Reviews from The Joint Commission consultants and multiple United States Department of Health and Human Services Life Safety Code inspectors that LSS’ fire damper inspection reports are the most thorough in the industry.
• We are a one-stop-shop with our ability to commission, inspect, test, repair, and replace devices without having to call multiple contractors saves time and money in coordinating activities. We can address all of your passive fire protection needs including fire and smoke dampers, fire doors, fire stopping and commissioning.
