Denise will be responsible for expanding national recruiting efforts and delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization.
Denise has over twelve years of Human Resources and Recruiting experience, and has worked for industry leading companies such as Kindred Healthcare and Elmcroft Senior Living. “Denise’s expertise extends beyond just filling positions as she has been involved with building new programs and processes in HR and Recruiting”, said Craig Rutledge, President of LSS. “We had another year of tremendous growth in 2012, and we believe that the trend will accelerate in 2013. Denise’s recruiting experience will allow us to put the right people in place to be ready for that continued growth.”
In her role of Recruiting Manager, Mrs. Piatt will develop national recruiting plans for the placement of permanent LSS employees’. This will be accomplished by employing traditional recruiting practices and resources as well as developing new, innovative recruiting ideas that will work with LSS’ niche market and operations strategies.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 30, 2013) – LSS Life Safety Services (LSS), a leader in passive fire protection inspection services, announced today that Mrs. Emily Lagler has joined the company as the new Customer Service and Special Project Manager. Emily will be responsible for helping maintain LSS ‘commitment to creating solid partnerships with facilities throughout the United States and Canada by promoting exceptional customer service for the company.
Emily has immediately been tasked with mapping out current business work flows to aid the recruiting department in hiring efforts. As LSS Life Safety Services continues to grow, she will assist in other areas, such as scheduling and workflow, to help the Operations Department manage the increased workload. “Emily’s role is instrumental in helping the Operations Department run seamlessly with the other areas of the company,“ said Craig Rutledge, President of LSS. “The Ops Department always faces challenges because it has so many moving parts and is changing on a daily basis. Emily’s strong problem solving skills and excellent leadership skills will ultimately allow our Operations Department to be fluent in a constantly changing industry.”
Emily has had nearly 15 years of customer service experience, along with three years of marketing experience. She previously worked as an Assistant Manager and Regional Marketing Representative in the restaurant industry, and was an Assistant Customer Service Manager in the grocery industry.
“I am coming to LSS Life Safety Services eager to learn and I am ready to work with the rest of the LSS team and help them take this company to the next level”, Emily stated. “Customers are why we have a job – I strive to go above and beyond the customers’ expectations. Louisville Ky. (February 12, 2013)-LSS Life Safety Services, an industry leader in passive fire protection services, has welcomed Rashad Taylor as its new IT Manager. Rashad will be responsible for all in house IT support for LSS Life Safety Services.
Before joining the LSS team, Rashad held multiple IT positions, including owning his own computer repair and sales company. Also, his previous work experience at Geek Squad has allowed him to become very familiar with all different IT systems. His quick learning abilities and problem solving skills will prove to be very beneficial to the LSS Life Safety Services team.
In talking about his new position at LSS Life Safety Services, Rashad said, “I’m excited to begin working with LSS because it allows me to branch out and tackle different IT responsibilities. I’m eager to work with multiple computers and systems on a daily basis.
