As the National Inspections Manager for SimplexGrinnell for 37 years, Mr. Turay performed numerous roles that will be extremely beneficial to LSS. “Kevin’s hands-on experience in the field allows him direct reference to the work LSS’ inspection technicians perform every day”, said Craig Rutledge, President of LSS. “This will ultimately allow him to be an exceptional Manager to our technicians because he has the technical knowledge they need in a mentor.”

LOUISVILLE, KY (October 18, 2012)- LSS Life Safety Services, an industry leader in passive fire protection inspection services such as fire and smoke damper inspections, fire door inspections, and firestopping, has been awarded a position on Business First’s “Fast Fifty” list for the fifth consecutive year. The “Fast Fifty” is an award that honors the fifty fastest-growing independently owned and privately held companies within Louisville and the surrounding areas. This year, the “Fast Fifty” included companies that have earned at least a 27% growth rate, which was up from the 15%-25% growth rate held by last year’s award winners.
Business First’s “Fast 50” program honors fifty privately based companies located within nine Kentucky counties, including Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble. Also including companies located in Clark, Floyd, Harrison, and Washington counties in Indiana. These companies must have a three-year operating sales history, as well as an average of $1 million in annual revenue for their three most recent fiscal years.
