LOUISVILLE, KY (October 17, 2014)- LSS Life Safety Services® (LSS) has been awarded a position on Business First’s “Fast Fifty” list for the sixth year. The “Fast Fifty” is an award that honors the fifty fastest-growing independently owned and privately held companies within Louisville and the surrounding areas. LSS ranked #37 on the list.
The “Fast Fifty” must be privately owned and for profit companies based in Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer or Trimble counties in Kentucky, or in Clark, Floyd, Harrison or Washington Counties in Indiana. In addition to the geographical requirement, the companies much have a three-year sales history and an average of $1 million for each of those years.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 30, 2014) –LSS Life Safety Services® announced today the addition of Charles Daimler and Andrew Brunner as Account Executives. Mr. Daimler and Mr. Brunner were hired to develop new business relationships and consult, educate and train facility managers and engineers on Passive Fire Protection safety in their respective markets.

Mr. Brunner joins LSS Life Safety Services® following a customer service and inside sales position with Louisville Slugger. “I believe my extensive background in customer services will certainly be an asset to our customers”, said Brunner. “I am looking forward to getting to know the fire safety business and put the skills to use that I have acquired in previous positions.” Andrew graduated from the University of Louisville in 2010 with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Marketing. Mr. Brunner will handle all inside sales for the company and will be based out of the corporate office in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mr. Daimler has 36 years of experience in the fire protection industry. For the last twenty years he has served as an Operations Manager with TYCO/SimplexGrinnell focusing primarily on Florida, Georgia and Puerto Rico. “I am looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead of me and I am very appreciative for the opportunity to become a member of the LSS Life Safety Services® team”, said Charles. In her new role with LSS, Heidi will be responsible for signing, training and supporting channel partners throughout the western United States.
Heidi brings twenty years of experience in the fire alarm and life safety business. Prior to joining the LSS team, she was a Fire Global Account Manager at Cintas Fire Corporation and served as the Director of Sales for the Western Region. Mrs. Young also has experience working in the industry with top brands such as SimplexGrinnell and Tyco.
